Is internet cause more harm than good?
Technology has been improved as time passed. Nowadays, more and more technologies have become part of our life. Internet is one of them. It is something that almost everyone knows, and almost every family has it. It is no longer something people “wants”, it is something that people “needs”. There are many people use internet to help them in their work, study, even business. With just a few steps, they can get information which they need within a few second or minutes. Child can also use it to do project or relax them by playing computer games. Internet can be both good and also bad. It depends on how we use it. I feel that internet will bring more good than harm to us.
In the past, if a student sick, he may just lost his lesson, as not all teachers are free to give them extra lesson or tuition. Nowadays, students’ life getting more and more stressful, they cannot afford to lost any of their lesson. Of course students will still sick, and teachers seem even more busy than the past, so how are them going to catch up with their work? Internet helps them to solve this problem. Teacher can sent some homework or notes thought internet to student who is sick. It may not be very efficient but at least it helps.
Internet can cause harm to people also. If you use it for wrong purposes, you will get harm. Almost every student is very stress. Many of the students like to play computer games in order to release their stress. It is all right to play internet games, but if the student is addicted to the game. It may just ruin his whole life. Some student may think that game is their career and they will focus more on their game than in their study. Not only student, anyone can let internet turn them into astray if they does not control it properly.
Internet is something necessary for people. In my point of view, internet is doing more good than harm to people. It helps people to save their time and they can work more efficiently. As long as we learn to control and make use of it properly, it will be a great helper to us.

An Interesting Recount during the holiday
I went back to China during November, and I returned to Singapore by December. After one month of separation with all my secondary two friends, I started to miss them. I decided to hold a barbeque.
I took more than one weeks to organise the barbeque alone. Firstly, I wrote down a list of names that I was going to invite for the barbeque. I started to call all of the people, who I wanted to invite, one by one. When there were enough people to attend the barbeque, I went online and booked a barbeque pit at East Coast Park. After that, I went to East Coast Park to check the actual location of our pit.
Finally, I finished all the preparation by the first week. Our barbeque was on the 18th of December. I woke up 8am in the morning, I went to NTUC buy 3 packet of chicken wings which contains of 60 chicken wings. I took home and defrosted it. I met my friends 11am at NTUC, to buy all the things and foods which needed for barbeque. After we got all the things ready, it was around 3pm. We took a taxi there and met all my friends at the barbeque pit.
We start the fire together. We spent more than 1 hour on that. One of my friends suggests me to call someone to help us, but we very shy, so we never ask for any help. The food that we cook is not fully cooked. Even we did not have a good dinner. My friends enjoyed the barbeque, and I felt successful. Even I spent more than $200, but I really happy because I could make my friends happy. Thanks to all my friends who had attended the barbeque.
